One business. My full attention.
My intention is to step into the business full-time at closing. I am willing to relocate and take responsibility for the work of leading it, learning the operation alongside the people who know it best.
You have built a business that matters. I am looking for one established company to acquire, lead full-time, and grow—with respect for the people and relationships that made it work.
A sale changes more than ownership. Before discussing a price, I want to understand what you want for yourself, your team, and the business.
My intention is to step into the business full-time at closing. I am willing to relocate and take responsibility for the work of leading it, learning the operation alongside the people who know it best.
Retirement, a new priority, or simply readiness for a change—your reason for selling matters. I want to agree on a practical handover, including your involvement, the knowledge to transfer, and how to communicate with the team.
Employees, customer relationships, and the way you deliver your service are the starting point. My approach is to understand those strengths first, then work with the team on improvements that support the business over time.
I am looking for an established, profitable business with durable demand and room to grow. Industry is flexible; the quality of the business and my ability to lead it matter most.
An initial overview is enough to assess fit: industry, location, revenue, earnings, ownership involvement, and reason for sale. I will assess size and financing against the specific opportunity. Please share sensitive financials only after confidentiality terms are agreed.
My goal is to preserve the strengths of an established business while giving its next stage of growth dedicated leadership.
The first priority is understanding how the business serves customers, how the team works, and where the owner carries knowledge that needs to be passed on. That understanding should guide the plan.
My background spans enterprise sales, product marketing, pricing, and go-to-market strategy at SAP and Microsoft. I want to apply that experience to winning the right customers and strengthening existing relationships.
Over time, I want to develop people, clarify responsibilities, and improve the systems behind daily work. The objective is a stronger operation with leadership and knowledge shared across the team.
I intend to reinvest thoughtfully, improve the business, and build value over time. Decisions about growth and any eventual ownership transition should reflect the business and the partners involved.
A straightforward process, with clear conversations about fit, expectations, and the work needed to reach a close. Timing depends on the business and the transaction.
Tell me what you have built, why you are considering a sale, and what a good outcome looks like. I will share my background and approach.
Before reviewing sensitive information, agree on confidentiality terms covering the review and any advisors or financing partners who need access.
Review the business, financial performance, owner responsibilities, and transition needs. Discuss valuation and structure alongside financing feasibility.
If there is mutual interest, outline proposed price, structure, key conditions, diligence, and the transition approach in a letter of intent.
Work through financial, legal, and operational diligence and seek the necessary equity and lending approvals. Coordinate information requests through the agreed process.
Once the conditions are met and documents are finalized, complete the acquisition and begin the agreed handover—with me stepping into the business full-time.
A background in building markets. An ambition to take responsibility for one business and its next chapter.
Hi, I’m Jamell.
My career has centered on understanding what customers value and helping businesses turn that understanding into growth. Through sales and marketing roles at SAP and Microsoft, and an MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, I’ve developed a perspective that connects strategy with the work of winning customers. My approach connects that experience with the people, decisions, and daily work that drive a business forward.
Owning and leading a small business has long been a personal ambition. I am drawn to an established company because there is something real to build on: customers who come back, people who know their work, and a service that matters.
Vantide Capital is focused on finding one established business where my experience and the owner’s transition goals align. My intention is to lead the acquired company full-time, working closely with its team to build on what already makes it successful. I am based in Atlanta and open to relocation for the right opportunity.
I bring a commercial perspective, and I expect to learn a great deal from the owner and team. My aim is to combine that knowledge with my experience in sales and marketing, develop the operation, and help the business grow.
If you are thinking about what comes next, I would welcome the chance to hear your story.
